Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®)
Explore Deeper Change
When the same reactions, inner criticism, or emotional loops keep showing up — even after insight, effort, and self-awareness — it’s often because the body and subconscious are still running an old program.
Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®) offers a focused, gentle way to work directly with those subconscious patterns using clinical hypnosis and guided subconscious inquiry, once your nervous system is ready. This allows change to happen at a deeper level, without forcing, re-living, or overwhelming the system.
What Is RTT®?
RTT® is a therapeutic approach that works with the subconscious mind, where emotional learning, protective responses, and long-standing beliefs are stored.
RTT® helps identify the subconscious beliefs and emotional imprints that quietly drive reactivity, self-attack, emotional shutdown, or feeling “stuck”, even when you understand the pattern intellectually.
Many people already know why they react the way they do.
RTT® supports the next step: working with the emotional and nervous-system imprint that keeps the pattern active, so insight can translate into lived change.
RTT® works best when:
You already have some capacity for nervous system regulation (such as HeartMath® or other grounding practices)
You want targeted, contained work rather than open-ended emotional processing
You’re ready to shift how you respond, not just what you understand
How RTT® Works
RTT® sessions are focused, intentional, and paced for safety.
Clients are guided into a relaxed, focused hypnotic state — similar to deep absorption or meditation — where the subconscious becomes more accessible. You remain aware, oriented, and in control throughout the session.
Each session typically includes:
Identifying a clear theme or pattern (such as self-criticism, emotional shutdown, people-pleasing, or recurring stress responses)
Clinical hypnosis to explore the subconscious origins of that pattern in a contained, non-overwhelming way
Gentle reframing and updating of outdated beliefs or protective responses
Integration support to help new responses feel stable, embodied, and usable in daily life, rather than fragile or forced
Sessions are designed to be:
Safe and contained
Gentle rather than emotionally overwhelming
Oriented toward practical, measurable change in real-world situations
Evidence & Credibility
RTT® was developed by Marisa Peer and integrates principles from:
Clinical hypnotherapy
Neuroscience
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Attachment-informed and trauma-aware approaches
Research and practitioner outcomes consistently show:
Reduced recurring stress responses
Decreased self-criticism and internal pressure
Increased emotional steadiness, self-trust, and response flexibility
Client experiences often describe changes such as:
“I could see the pattern clearly but for the first time, I wasn’t stuck inside it.”
“The reaction just didn’t hijack me anymore. I felt choice where there used to be panic.”
(Individual experiences vary. Results depend on readiness, regulation, and integration. RTT is not a replacement for medical care or therapy from a licensed provider.)
Practical Applications
RTT® is especially helpful if you:
Recognize your patterns but struggle to interrupt them in real time
Feel reactive even when you “know better”
Want to address recurring emotional habits
It pairs well with HeartMath® and other regulation-first approaches, supporting:
Greater emotional autonomy
Restored confidence and steadiness
A sense of internal safety — rather than self-management through force or vigilance
Common Questions
How long is a session?
Sessions typically last 90–120 minutes, allowing time for preparation, guided hypnotic work, and integration.
How many sessions do I need?
This depends on readiness and complexity. Many people experience meaningful shifts in 1–5 focused sessions, each addressing a specific pattern.
Is this “hypnosis” like stage hypnosis?
No. RTT® uses clinical hypnosis, which is collaborative, therapeutic, and consent-based. You are aware, able to speak, and in control at all times.
Is RTT® emotional?
RTT® is designed to be gentle and paced by readiness. Emotional material may arise, but sessions are structured to avoid overwhelm and support nervous-system stability.
Can I do RTT® without HeartMath® first?
Yes — if you already have other embodied regulation practices. Nervous system readiness matters more than the specific method.
